This December, both the preschool and preK classes were able to create feeders for winter animals and hang them during a field trip to a classmate’s house. It is a yearly tradition to study the winter habits of local fauna, but last year there were no field trips. All the students, chaperones, and teachers were thrilled to take part in this CCP tradition again this year, with some minor COVID-safety alterations.
The Polar Express event returned this year to CCP as did The Mitten retelling by the preK class. It was lovely to celebrate the season by bringing back some of these traditions.
